{"id":469,"date":"2026-05-12T21:03:01","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T21:03:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geoaiconference.org\/?page_id=469"},"modified":"2026-05-29T09:36:59","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T09:36:59","slug":"presentation-guidline","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/geoaiconference.org\/?page_id=469","title":{"rendered":"Presentation guideline"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Oral presentations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can find your session details in the online conference&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/geoaiconference.org\/?page_id=91\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"91\">program<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each oral presentation is allocated <strong>15 minutes<\/strong>, including Q&amp;A. We recommend preparing a presentation of no more than <strong>12 minutes<\/strong>, leaving the remaining time for questions and discussion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The projector will support <strong>HDMI<\/strong> connections and use a <strong>16:9 aspect ratio<\/strong> with a resolution of <strong>1920 \u00d7 1080<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The presentation computer will run <strong>Windows 11<\/strong> and will be equipped with <strong>Microsoft 365<\/strong>, including PowerPoint, <strong>Adobe Acrobat Reader<\/strong> for PDF files, and Wi-Fi access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Due to the limited time between presentations, switching computers during a session will not be possible. Please upload your presentation to the presentation computer, either via USB stick or online transfer, at least <strong>15 minutes before your session begins<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Poster Presentations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As a poster\/showcase presenter, you will be involved in these sessions:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Poster pitch sessions (in the mornings on either June 4 or June 5)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each session will consist of a series of brief presentations by poster authors. Each presentation may last a maximum of 1.5 minutes. The aim is to introduce your research, spark interest, and help participants decide which posters they would like to visit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Details of the 1.5-minute presentation have been provided by Lars De Sloover <a href=\"mailto:Lars.DeSloover@UGent.be\">Lars.DeSloover@UGent.be<\/a> via emails on May 20. If you have not received the email, please contact him directly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please check the conference program for the exact date of your poster pitch and the order of your pitch presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Poster sessions (held during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please prepare a poster in portrait orientation, with a maximum size of A0, and bring it with you to the symposium. The poster walls are approximately 2 m high and 1 m wide. Adhesive tape will be provided for mounting posters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All posters must be mounted on the poster walls by 10:00 AM on June 4. Posters may remain on display until Saturday morning at 9:00 AM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poster sessions will take place during the coffee breaks.
