From there you can take a train to Ghent (see below) with a duration of 1 hour. The train station is located in\/under the arrival hall of the airport. The name of the station is <strong>&#8216;Brussels Airport Zaventem&#8217;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From <strong>Amsterdam Airport Schiphol<\/strong> to Ghent (see below): Trains with a duration about 2.5h (see below).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From <strong>Paris CDG<\/strong> airport to Ghent (Gent-Sint-Pieters): Trains with a duration of 2.5h (see below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By Train<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main railway station in Ghent is &#8216;<strong>Gent-Sint-Pieters<\/strong>&#8216;, located in the southern part of the city. You can consider station &#8216;Gent-Dampoort&#8217; or &#8216;Gentbrugge&#8217; if your hotel is closer to these stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plan your trip and buy a ticket for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.belgiantrain.be\/\">national trips<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.b-europe.com\/EN\">international trips<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In Ghent: by foot, bus or tram<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/geoaiconference.org\/?page_id=65\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"65\">workshop venue, conference venue<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/geoaiconference.org\/?page_id=566\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"566\">reception and conference dinner<\/a> are located in the city center and on <strong>walking distance<\/strong> from eachother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For longer distances (eg. from railway station to the venues) you can take <strong>tram\/bus<\/strong> in Ghent. Install the app &#8216;De Lijn&#8217; to plan your trip and buy and activate your ticket.
