Workshops and tutorials that bring together participants from different disciplines are especially welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Workshops and tutorials will be held on <strong>in the afternoon of 3 June 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit your proposal to <a href=\"mailto:GeoAI2026@UGent.be\">GeoAI2026@UGent.be<\/a> with the subject line &#8220;GeoAI 2026 workshop proposal&#8221; <strong>by 18 January 2026<\/strong>. Decision will be made on <strong>28 January 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals should be submitted as a PDF (about 1 page), and contain the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Title of the workshop\/tutorial (and acronym if applicable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop\/tutorial organisers (Name, affiliationcontact details, link to your website and\/or social media)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short description of the workshop\/tutorial format (e.g., research presentations, discussion, hands-on tutorial, &#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goals and scope<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tentative program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Target audience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expected number of participants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plans for attracting and engaging participants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other technical requirements, if any<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GeoAI 2026 invites proposals for half-day workshops or hands-on tutorials that align with the conference theme &#8220;GeoAI \u2013 Bridging AI and Geography for Science and Society&#8221;.
